The Richmond Fellowship Employment and Training Centre

The Richmond Fellowship Employment and Training Centre was established in 1997 focusing on those who are unemployed, with mental health and other disability issues. Though there is much work to be done, the RFET aim to bridge the gap bewteen these issues and unemployment. The RFET had their award ceremony at Harvey House on the 13th October 2005. Construction Web’s Lloyd Heath was there to see the achievements of those who had been successful on the programme.

What’s on offer?  

Support in drawing up achievable goals and targets.  

Access to job search facilities such as newspapers, telephones and the internet.  

Work experience.  

Support for job applications and CVs.  

In-house IT training.

The RFET works with local employers to promote a positive attitude to mental health within the work place.
