Construction Web Training Programme
Construction Web offers a programme of training events tailored specifically
to the construction sector - for managers, sole traders and for the workforce.
Most courses are free or at a subsidised rate. They are held at our offices in
Wood Green and are delivered by experienced experts in their fields.

How fit is your business? Workshop
The aim of the workshops is to gain general awareness:
- Of the criteria & requirements to be eligible to be ‘fit to supply’ for
public sector/local authority bids.
- In understanding immigration and how it relates to employment
- About employers responsibilities and steps to take
Objectives in relation to Refugees, Asylum Seekers and EU migrants are:
- To raise awareness of employability law
- To examine funding possibilities for the workforce skills development
- To dispel some of the myths
- To raise contrasting awareness of the responsibilities of employers
- To provide participants with factual information about meeting these responsibilities
and next steps in doing so |

How financially fit is your business? Morning Workshop
Workshop objectives: This workshop is designed to provide participants with a basic knowledge of how
to manage their financial resources effectively, so that they can become ‘fit
to supply’ their services to public sector organisations such as local authorities.
Workshop outcome:
- The importance of managing financial resources effectively
- Basic procedures and systems critical for effective management of financial
resources
- How to use basic templates to record financial transactions
Group work: Working in groups, participants will have the opportunity to practice skills
learnt during the workshop so that they will be able to use them in their businesses
with confidence. |

required to interpret and evaluate financial statements for weaknesses in business
performance.

- Interpret and evaluate financial statements using a number of techniques
- Devise strategies to stem financial weaknesses
